As part of his campaign strategy, he needed a robust and dynamic website to communicate his vision, engage with voters, and provide up-to-date information. The project involved designing and developing a full-featured website that aligned with his campaign branding and allowed for easy content management by his staff.
Approach
The project began with a thorough analysis of Ja'Mal Green's campaign branding, followed by the creation of two distinct design options. After refining the chosen design based on feedback, the website was built using Webflow, leveraging its powerful design capabilities and robust CMS. The development process included creating a comprehensive site structure, implementing responsive design, and integrating dynamic content areas for news, events, and policy updates. A custom CMS structure was developed to allow easy content management by campaign staff. The final steps involved optimizing the site for performance and SEO, creating documentation, and conducting training sessions to ensure the campaign team could effectively manage and update the website throughout the mayoral race.
