I have five years of experience in user experience design. Right now, I'm an in-house designer at the American Medical Association, where I focus on engaging physicians through a website that houses medical news and resources. I have a Master's degree in Marketing with a concentration in Information Systems from Loyola University Chicago and a Bachelor's degree in International Studies from the University of North Carolina, Charlotte.

I love design because it's given me the power to create things for work. My vision for my design career is to find a good spot either in an agency or for an umbrella corporation that owns lots of smaller brands, so that I get to work on different and unique projects. I'm not sure if I want to end up a manager. I think I would rather follow the individual contributor ladder as far as I can get.

Outside of work, I spend a lot of time with my family consisting of a dog, three cats and my husband. My current side project involves designing and building a rummy game app and learning Unity in the process. In my free time, I love watching TV shows, particularly procedural dramas and sitcoms. I'm obsessed with knitting and baking. I have a habit of listening to audiobooks I find on NPR and the Atlantic while I play farming sims. Also, I'm a huge Swiftie.
