UX & Visual Designer, Chicago (Remote to Hybrid)

  • Lead the end-to-end design process, from concept to execution, collaborating with developers, product managers and marketing personnel to implement responsive and user-friendly designs that focus on functionality, accessibility, and hierarchy in a 3 week sprint cycle for over 30 projects contributing to an average increase of 3% in membership year over year and a 49% increase  in click-through-rates to our join/renew funnel. 

  • Produced countless user flows, wireframes and prototypes which communicated design concepts and user interactions, where I would aim for meeting AAA WCAG standards and only compromising at times to meet AA WCAG standards.

  • Designed, implemented, and monitored A/B tests in Optimizely to identify high-conversion designs, while also developing a comprehensive Power BI quarterly report for the Director of Product to facilitate the monitoring of interaction metrics and project performance in 2024.

  • Streamlined design operations by creating onboarding materials, successfully migrating the team from Sketch to Figma, and developing a maintained component and pattern library in Figma, which ensured consistency between designers and developers while documenting the library in Confluence.

Researcher & Web Designer - Volunteer, Remote

  • Updated the design of congressional candidates’ websites on WordPress, increasing voter turnout, donations, and volunteer sign-ups contributing to candidate Odessa Kelly capturing 78% of Nashville’s vote.

  • Fostered team morale during the critical week before elections by organizing supportive check-ins, encouraging open communication about stress levels, and implementing fun team-building activities to maintain focus and motivation.

Bold Metrics, 04/2021–10/2021

UX/UI Designer- Contract, Remote

  • Developed animations for the homepage to embody branding pillars using Figma and Adobe After Effects.

  • Redesigned the UI of the smart Size Chart to enhance clarity and user experience, in collaboration with engineering and marketing teams.

  • Determined the information architecture for New Moon Film’s website to guide the redesign process and to help organize their website's content.

  • Utilized Adobe Suite, wordfly, and conga collaborate to create marketing materials, increasing User Conference attendance by 33% and revenue by 50%. 

  • Designed email marketing materials, announcements and newsletters using the HTML/CSS editor on Wordfly using conditional content to personalize messages to audiences. 

  • Automated invoicing procedures at both Centaman and InReach in MS Excel using macros, VBA and pivot tables analysis tools which shortened invoicing procedures from 11 days to 1.5 days.
